Control panel >> Extra page / file management

This is where you manage your extra files, extra pages and extra page links. You are able to add links to your main category bar and information link box.
These extra files are ideal for displaying terms and conditions and special offers pages. You can upload your custom built pages or use our extra page wizards, which create files for you.

Once you have a page uploaded, you can create a link, which can be displayed in the main category bar or in the information link box.

Extra page links

If the link is internal, it will be displayed within your shops frame. If it is external, the link will open in its own browser window. You can also make an extra page your shops homepage by clicking the house icon next to the relevant link.

This will make the page the first page a shopper sees when visiting your shop.

There is also a facility to make a category page your shops homepage.

Technical:
To add a custom extra page to your shop, please follow these instructions:
1: Create the page in HTML and make sure you remove the HTML, HEAD & BODY tags.
2: Upload the file using the Upload tool.
3: Once it is uploaded, click make link.
4: Enter the link title and other details into the red box and submit.

There are considerations that need to be taken into account when adding custom extra pages.
You need to remove the HTML, HEAD & BODY tags from your HTML code because the file is included within the shops HTML.
Because your extra page is included in the shop.php file, any images need to have paths that are relative to shop.php. To simplify this, make your image paths complete URL's. EG: http://www.yourdomain.com/images/yourimage.gif.
If you have uploaded them using the extra page / file management upload tool, the url will be:
http://www.yourdomain.com/shop/extrafiles/yourimage.gif
