Rockedout.comFor ROCKEDOUT.COM, our online shopping site is absolutely critical to our business; it has to be everything a great bricks and mortar shop has to offer, and more. So when we needed to move from our existing site which wasn't meeting either our or our customers needs, we needed to do it quickly and cleanly with little or no interruption in service. We needed much more control over content and features along with the ability to make changes quickly and easily, it needed to be cost effective, and with Christmas rapidly approaching it needed to happen yesterday.

Within 48 hours of our first conversation with Redeye Media about ShopMaker, our site had moved and the new store was up and running. RedEye quickly integrated our payment processes and had everything ready so we could configure ShopMaker before we made the technical changes to direct customers to the new system. We worked around the clock to bring all our products across, create and load our graphics and get it all working, but the ShopMaker interface made it as easy as it possibly could be, and Richard at Redeye was (and always is) on hand to point us in the right direction when we got lost.

Within the first week of the new ROCKEDOUT.COM being live, we saw a significant improvement in orders coming through from our online advertisements - the click through rates matching sales more closely. The links and data we can create to and from ShopMaker allow us to integrate with providers such as Google AdWords, Shopzilla, Miva etc much more accurately. We can manage our orders, products, categories, shipping costs, discounts, graphics and layouts in a matter of seconds. We can get website stats, manage email addresses and transfer files to our system without a hitch, and everyone has found the system simplicity itself to use.

Four months down the line, we are still finding features within ShopMaker that we can make use of. We have further commissioned RedEye Media to add a customer mailing list facility, which was completed quickly and is now an integral part of our marketing toolkit.

There may be a few things that a business may want in an online shop that ShopMaker cannot deliver off the shelf but if you can explain what you want, I would be surprised if RedEye couldn't build it in. Overall, you will not find a better product and service for the money, and from our experience we can guarantee you that finding a lot worse at a higher cost is easy.
